Words have always fascinated Lusi. As a child, it was her primary way of learning about her Fijian heritage and family there; it was how she felt connected to her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She consumed words through the stories her parents read to her at bedtime, through the lyrics she listened to as a teen and was exposed to classical writers and their words as she undertook her theatre studies.
Over the years, writing projects for Lusi have included lyric composition, writing articles for a variety of magazines and blogs (from scrapbooking to home education), creating scripts and words for stage performance.
