INTERTWINED - KICKING OUR KICKSTARTER GOAL
The Kickstarter campaign lasted for 60 days. Here is a collection of the updates I posted along the way for posterity's sake.
I'M SO OVERWHELMED March 19, 2023
Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all of your generous pledges given so far.
This week our world was pretty rocked by a new, life-long medical diagnosis for one of our kiddos. They are doing fine but it has been a worrisome time at hospital. Getting home to read your pledges has been a HUGE encouragement to me and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your willingness to invest in and support me and this project.
I'll try to update a little more regularly but please know I am so very thankful to you all.

FAR OUT - YOU GUYS AMAZE ME!
March 30, 2023 Hi friends,
I am so incredibly grateful to see the total of pledges is climbing and is quite close to the half way mark!
What is really humbling are the messages I'm getting from people saying they have faith in me and in this project - that means more to me than my words can adequately express.
Thank you for your pledge and I really am so hopeful we will make our target for this special project with just on 40 days to go!
On a personal note, thank you also for the support while we deal with our daughter's new diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. It has been a rollercoaster since posting the Kickstarter and Brett and I thank you all for your words of kindness.

WE'VE KIND OF PLATEAUED April 11, 2023 I saw someone recently who was excited that I'd raised nearly $5000 for Intertwined - and while it is SO exciting - I had to explain to that person that unless I actually get to reach our goal of 10K by our deadline, I don't actually receive even one cent of what has been pledged. They were really surprised and hadn't understood that about the Kickstarter appeal, so I thought I'd mention it here in this update for anyone who didn't know that. We have about 28 days to go and I've started to create some artworks which will feature the names of everyone who has pledged and of course, I am hoping this might inspire people to help us reach our goal. The artworks-names-list-thingy will be on display on opening night of Intertwined :) Hope I can work out how to upload it here soon.

With 20 days to go on this campaign, I am stoked to announce that we have reached our half way point! I am so incredibly grateful to you all for you kindness and support. You are all insanely amazing!

I am almost ready to lock in audition dates! Keep an eye out in case you know of someone who might be keen to be one of our key players.

WE'RE GETTING SO CLOSE! May 4, 2023 We're getting so close to both the goal and the deadline!
Firstly, if I haven't personally written to you to say thank you yet, please forgive me. Trying to balance juggling lots of balls at the moment (especially on days like today after treating 2 x diabetic hypos in the night for our daughter). PLEASE know how VERY grateful I am for your pledge! Thank you for believing in me and in Interwined - a play which centres around Cowra!
Could you PLEASE share this campaign one last time? We may not get over the line but I'll give it all I've got to try!

70 HOURS TO GO - WILL WE MAKE IT?! May 6, 2023
I know how desperate that tagline sounds but I really am hopeful we will make it.
I know I keep saying this...but please know HOW VERY GRATEFUL TO YOU I am!
Every pledge, every share, every kind word has kept me encouraged and helped me to believe even more than ever in this project. And when you are the script writer, composer, lyricist, director and producer of a play...it is incredibly powerful to have you cheering me on!
Before this is all over, whatever happens, I just want to send my love and hugs to every single one of you.

I may or may not be *ugly crying*
I am so humbled by your generosity and love. YOU have done this! YOU have rallied together to make this possible. YOU are amazing and I am indebted to each of YOU for your pledge, your encouragement and your unwavering support. See what happens when a few people do what they can? BIG things can happen!
I am fully aware that I am nobody (I mean I'm somebody, a person but I'm not a person with a big name). I don't have a huge company behind me or a studio that I have been working for. I have been silent in the theatre world for 2 decades and YET....here we are. YOU are making me believe that dreams are possible. More than that, YOU have shown me that you believe in the message of this work and in me as a person and I will remain grateful to each of YOU who have pledged or shared for the rest of my days.
